Design
CM Services specializes in custom landscape designs. Our designers create handcrafted landscape designs for your home or business. Our team of in-house and freelance designers have years of experience. They combine various techniques, utilizing traditional hand-sketched designs as well as top shelf digital technology.
Each designer has his or her own style, and no two designs are alike. No matter the style, we always begin by listening. Once we understand our client’s vision for the design, we lend our years of expertise to find the perfect solution.
There are four main principles we use when we design a landscape:
1. LOW MAINTENANCE – A good landscape design must first be aesthetically pleasing. But equally important is that it must also be LOW maintenance after installation. While all landscapes require some attention, we want to minimize your work. Of course, for those who prefer, our Maintenance Division is on hand to care for your landscape long after the installation is complete. We can also offer extended warranties to properties that were installed and maintained by CM Services.
2. DURABLE – Our designers also consider durability. If we create a beautiful landscape but the plants have a short lifespan, that’s not a success. Having been in this business for 20 years, we know exactly which plants to use to ensure durability. Durably designed landscapes will flourish for years.
3. COLOR – The CM Services design team knows exactly which mixture of colors to use. We stage our designs in such a way so that you get maximum color in your yard year-round. A well-designed property gives wonderful color changes during spring, summer, fall, and even winter.
4. BALANCE – Every day we see poorly designed landscapes. Those bad designs almost always have bad balance. A well-balanced landscape considers fine detail—plant height, variety of leaf texture, and the growth cycles of plant materials. After examining the tiny details, we zoom out to look at the property as a whole, ensuring that the entire landscape properly “frames” your home or business.
